This is a catch-all directory for canon characters. A dedicated directory for original characters is under construction. I'm trying a new format this month and would appreciate any feedback you'd like to submit on the guidelines entry. Also, please vote in the poll below about the posting schedule of future directories!

Posting a Canon Heading
- Alphabetical top levels have been provided. Please respond to it with an empty comment to start a canon thread.
   ✔ See "A > Avatar" for an example.
- Articles such as a/an/the should not be used for alphabetizing.
   ✔ See "W > The Walking Dead" for an example.
- Please do not lump canons together, even for sake of streamlining.
   ✖ "Podcasts" is a medium and "Sports Anime" is a genre.
   ✔ "MCU" shares multiverse and "Game of Thrones" book and show characters are essentially the same.
NEW! - Franchises may be used as an umbrella header. Please create a franchise comment and respond with specific canon threads. This will keep them together but still distinguish the different canons.
   ✔ See "F > Final Fantasy" for an example.

Seeking: canonmates or complimentary crosscanon (like cops, criminals, killers, assassins, supernatural characters, post-apocalyptic characters, superheroes, similar time periods, etc) for shippy psls.
Shipping: m/m or m/f. for canonmates, practically everyone. for crosscanon, characters who are 30+.
Location / Style of play: i play hannibal at

ryslig, but i love psls and memes. (i'm always happy to do a meme thread first to get a feel for how well the characters click before transitioning to a full-blown psl.) i prefer longer, detailed tags over sparse ones. comfortable with action or prose.
Schedule / Timezone: est. i usually tag daily and i'll tag until the thread's finished. i prefer to play with relatively fast taggers (daily or every couple days) or those who tag back at least once a week. i'm likely to lose interest in a thread if it consistently takes more than a week to tag it back.
Other info: i like what ifs, canon divergences, aus, fusions, and (for canonmates) canon continuations. i like horror, action, adventure, dark themes, smut, sci-fi, and fantasy.

Just looked and I can't find the last bakerstreet meme I responded to.

Will: We could meet at Denny's. Hannibal would hate that.
Me: Why are you so cruel?
Will: ... Fine. I know I'll just smell like wet dog and drive him off, but how about the rain meme?

Hannibal might hate Denny's but I love putting into situations he isn't comfortable in, so I'd totally be down for Denny's. Also the rain meme!

Is there a canon point you'd prefer? Or you would rather do something after season 3?

Will: H wears the color red to indicate that he really wants to kill someone.
Me: doesn't he always want to?
Will: it's called foreshadowing.

There's nothing like escaping the FBI to draw two killers closer after surviving a plunge from a cliff. (Did Chiyoh steal Will's boat? Did Will find a clue that Hannibal had left for him that indicated he had the property? Or are they on foot because not having any resources is more fun? Did Thanos snap his fingers and one of them ashed?)

I'm so down for post-season 3! If you toss me a link, I'd be happy to write a starter!

Also if you have a tag style preference, please let me know! I'm comfortable with brackets or prose.

I'm a prose writer. Italics are Will's thoughts - expect many with my apologies.

I chose rain as the location, because, of course, the weather would change as they make their escape. Will is cursed like that.

That works great! I do the same thing with italics for thoughts!

Me: sounds great! My Monday night game night starts in about an hour, so don't rush yourself.
Will: (heads off to feed the dogs so we've got an hour.)
Me: I only have one dog.
Will: Which means I have time to heat up dinner. (*smirks*)

No problem! I'll be able to get something up tonight. I'll probably have to go to bed in like two hours, but I'll be around tomorrow too.
